Tyranid Project - Part 2 - Tervigons Cont.
So I've built a 2nd Tervigon along the same lines as the first and a few Termagants to go along with them.
@Chumbalaya - The 3rd Tervigon I'll be making for use at 2000 points will be more hunched over than these 2. I plan on accomplishing this in the following ways.
1)The rear Carnifex legs are located by a rectangular protrusion on each leg that locates into an equivalent recess on the tail section. It should be fairly easy to attach the legs at a different angle with a bit of cutting and some green stuff. 2)The tail has a 'pip' on it that locates it into the Carnifex body. Removal of this pip gives you a slightly larger range of movement up to the point that the raised bits on the spine get in the way. 3)Removing a couple of those rear spines should get even more movement. 4)Any more movement than that and you'd have to cut a recess in the rear of the Carnifex body, so I'll most likely stop at point 3, lol.
Looks fine to me, similar to what I have planned.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna try and make my Tervies more hunched (if that's even possible) and stick on the spore tube thingies from the Genestealer sprues.
