Grotesques, Wracks and other Finecast leaks...
Some pictures have found their merry way from the 'secret' pile into the 'leaked' pile yet again...
Grotesques.
Wracks.
Haemonculus.
Citadel Finecast.
Credit goes to Natfka for these pics by the way just in case he thinks I'm stealing his stuff rather than just borrowing it ;-)
Sadly (Wracks and Grotesques) are nowhere near as nice as the rest of the model range. In fact, the Grotesques are possibly the worst models of the whole lot. Very unimpressed I have to say
GMort You dont have to worry about me thinking you are "stealing" pics. The Dark Eldar pics were sent to me, and as I was posting them, they were all over the place.
The other pics I added 5-10 minutes later. The 40k community is very quick to spread the news.
Like the wracks, the grotesques are meh unless there are more poses. There had better be more than one haemonuculus but depending on the wrack kits conversion should be possible and relatively easy.
@ Lycaeus_Wrex + Fat Lad - They're a different style to the other Dark Eldar models but they are very similar to the pictures in the codex so their appearance doesn't surprise me.
i fear this stuff may be rather brittle and hoped for plastic wracks
ReplyDelete@ Mark - The new resin mix is meant to be slightly on the rubbery side and is therefore more likely to be bouncy than brittle.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was told anyway...

ReplyDeleteI hope there are more Grotesques as those are very meh. I like the idea of the new resin though, I personally hate putting metal models together.

I appreciate the link though.

ReplyDelete@ Natfka - I got the pictures from your blog so I thought it was only fair to give you the credit.
ReplyDelete@ Evil Homer - GW have a habit of not taking very good pictures of their newer models. Hopefully they'll be better 'in the flesh'.
