Hmm... I was neer a fan of the Necrons because of the silly green rods and stuff. Sorry but they always seemed a bit 'kiddy' to me. So first of all GW get a thumbs up from me for removing the damn things from most of the range. However, like you I still don't really like the look of the Necrons. Its all gone a bit too Egptians in space for me and has ended up as a bad mash up of Star Gate SG-1 and Terminator. I think the only thing that would ever get me back into the game now is if the Eldar codex came out OR when they release 6th edition. I tell you what though, if 6th sucks donkey balls they'll be in some serious trouble.
ReplyDeleteI looooove the look of the Necrons.
ReplyDeleteI hear the grumble that they aren't "alien" enough, but they are supposed to be living beings turned into machines. So their ornaments make sense. Besides that, is personal taste. I don't like most Infinity models except ALEPH ones, for example.
Of course, the big deal is how they play. Can't wait for checking out the codex.
