Prepare your tabletop for invasion!   It’s coming – the Mars Attacks Kickstarter goes liveon the 4th October! Throughout September we’re going to be showing off new concepts, new renders and all the background you can possibly read. See our round-up of the week’s news right here on the Mantic blog. General Tor is coming, and he’s not a happy bunny. Prepare yourself – the fight for Earth is about to begin. The transfer window has opened...   Following the already huge success of DreadBall Season 3, we’re releasing sets of alternatively posed models, keepers and prone figures for the Season 1 and Season 2 team in early October. Ssshhhhh. Aaaaarggghh... Of course, DreadBall Season 3 comes first with more teams, more players and more balls. Rules for DreadBall Ultimate are included in the rulebook for playing multi-team games and we’ve put together an awesome little box set for £39.99/$64.99 that includes four Giants (worth $9.99 each), a Season 3 Rulebook, the Ultimate Arena, Cards and Counters to make playing Ultimate extra easy. This Ultimate deal is not one to be missed – grab yours on the Mantic Webstore. It begins shipping on the 27th September!   Things are about to get mental!   Here’s a little heads up as to what’s coming later this year - we’re moving to 2 releases per month for October and November with DreadBall alternate sets, new Elves for Kings of War and River Horse’s LOKA board game. In addition, Deadzone is being released in late November. The elements do battle! From River Horse comes LOKA – a Game of Elemental Strategy. In Loka, you control one or more armies of elemental fantasy warriors – Fire, Earth, Air and Water are at war. The armies, divided into two teams, battle for supremacy using polyhedral dice, moving and fighting over a board layered with ever-changing fantasy terrain. The rules, and type of pieces available to your army are inspired by traditional chess, and so are extremely simple. However, in Loka you get to choose what pieces you are going to include in your army, which means your armies can be expanded for larger, more epic battles. Look out for pre-orders going live soon. Pathfinder Kings of War Final! The Grand Final of the Kings of War Pathfinder Tournament is being held on 19th October and you'll need to be quick if you want to get a ticket. Held at the Northwest Gaming Centre, the epic trophies above are up for grabs, as is the kudos of being the Kings of War Pathfinder Champion!
