Unboxing Malifaux - McMournings's 'Body of Evidence' Starter Set

Just put those parts on the pile...I'm sure they'll come in useful...

The 'Body of Evidence' box contains enough parts for seven miniatures...namely McMourning, his Totem the Zombie Chihuahua (2SS), Sebastian (7SS), a Flesh Construct (6SS), a Canine Remains (4SS) and two Nurses (5SS each). It also contains stat cards for each one and six upgrade cards four of which are for McMourning and one for Sebastian and one that can be given to either McMourning or Sebastian.

This makes the Soulsstone value of the box...

McMourning (0), Zombie Chihuahua (2), Sebastian (7), Flesh Construct (6), Canine Remains (4), Nurses (5, 5) Total (29) or (32) with a maximum Soulstone cache and (37) or (38) with maximum 'out of the box' upgrades depending on whether you're playing him as Guild or Resurrectionist.

The box has one sprue set in it which consists of six sub-assy's in it as well as the aforementioned cards...

Lets have a look at each of these in turn...should there be any assembly issues with any of the models then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them. Wyrd Miniatures also seem to have stopped putting instructions in things and instead give you a leaflet with a web address on it that leads to a number of links.

One of these is for use with him as a Guild Master, two are Resurrectionists and one is dual faction...yes...dual faction Masters are a bit more complicated, lol.

The join between his arm and the tray is a bit small so I'd recommend taking your time to get a good join. I assembled the tray, head and underneath part before attaching it to the arm and this method worked for me.

It's tiny...really, really, tiny...get some tweezers...or a friend with a microscope...or just be careful. It actually looks worse than it is if I'm being honest...

The arm joints are a bit small on both Nurses but nothing that should cause you any particular issues.
