Unboxing Warmachine - Bane Riders

I don't normally do these sort of features on my Warmachine purchases but I've been talking about their assembly on my Facebook page and have had a couple of messages about doing it so here it is...

The box comes with parts for five plastic models (one of which is a leader) which is the full size for a Bane Riders unit (Though they can be fielded as a three if you wish). This means that the box gives you 11 points worth of models maximum. They have an FA of 1 so unless you're using Goreshade, Lord of Ruin's 'Tier' list or two Warcasters one box should be all you'll need.

Unlike the majority of Privateer Press's metal kits which have some measure of subdivision of parts their plastic kits tend to have everything in a single bag and possibly containing a slightly smaller bag with the really tiny bits in...

You also obviously get the units Stat Cards as well.

The 'Horses' come in two halves with the 'Riders' being made up of five (the leader has some extra spikes making six).

I haven't pictured both sides of each horse half as I do normally with unboxing features as they're basically hollow on the opposite side.

The riders have separate arms and each arm requires the shoulder pad gluing to it...the leader gets some extra spikes...

Lets have a look at them assembled then.

As the models are plastic (Restic may actually be the term in this case) so they are fairly easy to convert should you so desire.

The arms and shoulder pads have raised inserts that match indentations in the bodies and shoulder pads so it's difficult (but not impossible) to get the parts mixed up. It's very easy to trim these locators should you wish to swap these parts around should there be a specific pose that you have in mind.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
