Crew a Week Project - M2E Von Schill - Part 1

Regular readers of the blog will be aware that the 'Crew a Week' concept was an attempt to motivate myself to get off my arse and paint some Malifaux models...

I tend to accumulate models at about ten times the rate that I actually paint them...

The format was that I'd select a starter set crew (and some weeks if I felt confident that I had a bit more time I'd add a few models to it as well) and then I'd attempt to paint the whole thing in a week period. Generally I'd get the crew assembled Monday, ignore it till about Sunday and then power through it in a day...with varying degrees of success. More often than not I'd use a crew that I'd already done an un-boxing article on which meant I could skip the assembly part of the process and save a bit of time.

As you can see from the first couple of pictures in this article I'm now horrendously behind again (and those aren't even all of them...) so I've decided to bring the project back starting with Von Schills M2E Crew...

...hopefully the two versions of the armoured Librarian...

...and possibly the Pathfinder and his Clockwork Traps that I've put together today...

Of course this does somewhat depend on whether work decides to add twenty hours of overtime to my week like it did last week, lol.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.

  1. I would like to point out though...that even though you haven't painted them, you have at least put some flock/grit down for basing material. Mad props for that!
