Unboxing Malifaux - M2E Desolation Engine

It looks like the Outcasts are as inventive with their spare bits and pieces as the Resurrectionists are...

These were part of the Wyrd Games 'Black Friday' sale and some of those models are pre-release and therefore are yet to have proper boxes so this is technically an un-bagging rather than an un-boxing. When the boxed versions become available I'll alter the pictures accordingly...

The Desolation Engine box/bag contains enough parts for one miniature...namely the Desolation Engine. It also contains a stat card for him though there are no upgrade cards.

The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them. Wyrd Miniatures also seem to have stopped putting instructions in things and instead give you a leaflet with a web address on it that leads to a number of links...

I've put them here for your convenience to save you having to look yourself. Just click on it for a larger version...

Stat Card.
Since I got in trouble for making freely available things that Wyrd Games would much rather sell you here's the front of the stat card only, lol.

Assembled
There are no issues at all with this model...none at all...no seriously...none...even the chain that worried me on the early pics is nice and substantial...

Here's some close-ups...

The Arms.

Some more detail pictures...

Comparison Pictures
Bare in mind when comparing the scale on these that my original metal one is slightly raised by virtue of standing on a rock and the pose is more vertical than horizontal.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
