Unboxing Malifaux - M2E Hog Whisperer

I'm not convinced that the training of hogs involves a great deal of whispering...

The Hog Whisperer box contains enough parts for two miniatures...namely the Hog Whisperer and a Piglet. It also contains a stat card for the Hog Whisperer though there are no upgrade cards.

Editors Note - As well as the Hog Whisperer you also get a Piglet but as far as I'm aware none of the boxes contain a stat card for it or a base...it's simply a bonus...If I hear otherwise in the future I'll amend the article accordingly...

The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned card...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them. Wyrd Miniatures also seem to have stopped putting instructions in things and instead give you a leaflet with a web address on it that leads to a number of links...I've put them here for your convenience...

Just click on it for a larger version...

Stat Card
Front only or I get into trouble, lol.

M2E Hog Whisperer - Assembled
The head is in three parts though two of them are hat and the pointed stick has one hand and some fingers attached to it so aligning it is very simple indeed. Mine is on a 30mm Wyrd Games Bayou base insert.

M2E Piglet - Assembled
I had some trouble aligning the two body halves on this model as the stomach piece seemed to push them apart. I've taken the pictures with-out filling the gap so you can see where I had the issue but it's nothing that a bit of filing and/or some filler wont be able to sort out...

The base and insert were my own because as mentioned above they aren't apparently supplied with this set.

Here's a group picture.

Here's a comparison picture between the original metal and the new plastic versions.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
