16/05/2015 12 Days until the Best Gaming Weekend in the UK Greetings. It is not long now until 3 days of gaming at UK Games Expo. This coming Thursday at Midnight our highly trained ticketing team (Tony) will switch off the booking system. I repeat: ticketing goes OFFLINE THU 21st May Midnight. You can buy entry tickets and all events tickets on the weekend (with the exception of miniatures events which we close bookings down for on Thu.). I say again - you WILL still be able to buy entry tickets on the weekend as well as tickets for those events that still have spaces.. So this next 6 days is your final chance to ensure you can do what you want to do on the weekend. We've listed below some events you might want to check out and book now. Next weekend we will publish our Guide to Expo. All you need to know if attending the UK's biggest and best Hobby Games Convention. Richard, Tony, Pat, John. Lindsey and Keith Board Games This year the UK Catan Championship is our biggest ever. We are aiming for 100 entries. The winner gets to go to Vienna this year and the USA next year to represent the UK on all expenses paid trips thanks to Mayfair Games. The winner of the UK Carcassonne Championship likewise will go to Germany to represent the UK. There are other choices of board game events that still have spaces available. To book a board game event click this link. Miniatures The miniatures events category is our second biggest in terms of numbers of events. Lots of choices and most still have spaces. There are some juicy prizes including £1000 for the Warzone Resurrection winner, and World Championship places in the Wizkids events. REMEMBER - YOU CAN'T BOOK THESE EVENTS ON THE WEEKEND, so if you want to book a miniatures event click here. Come to the Coiledspring Games Pre-show Sneakpeak! Arriving at UKGE on the Thursday? Whether a visitor, guest or exhibitor you will be excited to see the shiny new games. Why wait until Friday? You are all invited to the Coiledspring Pre-show Sneak Peak Games night. Exhibitors, if you are at UKGE on the THU night, Coiledspring invites you to bring along one or two new games each, grab some table space and some innocent looking gamers and let them try them out. Gamers –we know some of you arrive early. Get your gaming kickstarted with the sneakpeak!
