Exactly the same colour as the Retributor armour pot, the highest-quality pigments available ensure a smooth, consistent and vibrant finish that will make your miniatures shine out from across any gaming hall.

Flayed one flesh

Flayed One Flesh (Layer)

We're really looking forward to getting our hands on Age of Sigmar and we've got loads of events planned for it over the next few months. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.
Unless you've been in stasis floating through space for the last few months you are probably already aware of the awesome new AVP game being released by Prodos.

The Boxed Game AvP – The Hunt Begins is a self-contained gaming experience, a fusion of mission and narrative driven Board Game and Table Top War Game. A family game where 1 or more players can sit down and play through their own narrative and develop their own characters and objectives over many inter-linked games. Or players can sit down and play a ‘free for all’ with games like ‘Survival’, ‘Last human/Alien/Predator standing’, ‘capture the objective’ etc. filling an hour or two of your evening or rainy Sunday afternoon.

Hopefully by the time you read this we should have the game available to purchase in store, and if you haven't been able to make up your mind about whether or not to get a copy then hopefully these images will make the decision easier for you.

Colonial Marines
Alien Infant Warriors

Alien Stalkers
Have you ever wondered if you could do a better job than Admiral Piett at the Battle of Endor or maybe you just fancy yourself as the the next Admiral Ackbar? If so, then Star Wars: Armada may just be the perfect game for you.

In Star Wars: Armada, you assume the role of fleet admiral, serving with either the Imperial Navy or Rebel Alliance. It’s your job to issue the tactical commands that will decide the course of battle and, perhaps, the fate of the galaxy.

The Core set was released a few months ago with wave one being released shortly afterwards and July should see the release of wave two.

In wave two you'll find the game's first large ships and Rogue squadrons that can both move and fire during the squadron phase. You'll benefit from a wealth of new firepower matched only by the myriad layers of new tactical possibilities. Wave II also marks the introduction of a host of commanders, officers, crew, upgrades and ace pilots, and you'll find such renowned heroes and villains as Han Solo, Boba Fett, and Admiral Ackbar, alongside a new commander version of Darth Vader.
Imperial Class Star Destroyer

Imperial-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

The Imperial-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack brings this behemoth battleship to your games of Armada with one pre-painted miniature, two ship cards, three command dials, eighteen upgrades, and all requisite tokens.

Moreover, even as it affords you the opportunities to snare your foes with a tractor beam and fly your fleet to battle under the command of Darth Vader, theImperial-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack introduces a new type of defense token to your Imperial fleet: the Containdefense token. Featured on both theImperial I-class and Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, the Contain token can cancel the standard critical effect of a shot that passes through your shields to your hull. Given the devastating nature of many of the critical effects in the Armadadamage deck, the Contain token is a valuable tool that you'll want to spend wisely as you use your Star Destroyers to spread fear throughout the galaxy.
MC30c Frigate

MC30c Frigate Expansion Pack

The MC30c Frigate Expansion Pack, offers the Rebel Alliance a fast, nimble, small-size vessel that can fire as many as five attack dice from its left and right hull zones. However, to do so, it must get within close range of enemy ships where its shields won't long protect it from taking damage against its four hull points.

In addition to its pre-painted MC30c frigate miniature, this expansion pack contains two command dials and ten upgrade cards, along with all the tokens you need to bring this Rebel ship to battle. Of course, as with other Armadaexpansion packs, the MC30c Frigate Expansion Pack also comes with two ship cards that let you field your MC30c as either the MC30c Scout Frigate or MC30c Torpedo Frigate. Though they share many of the same design elements, the different costs and battery armaments of these two different configurations ensure a wide range of tactical flexibility for your MC30c.
Home One

Home One Expansion Pack

Admiral Ackbar and his flagship star cruiser, Home One, arrive to Armada in the Home One Expansion Pack. Featuring one large-size, pre-painted miniature MC80 star cruiser, two ship cards, three command dials, and fourteen upgrades, the Home OneExpansion Pack gives the Rebel Alliance a ship that can trade blow for blow with nearly any Imperial vessel.
Boasting battery armaments of six dice from both its left and right hull zones, the MC80 star cruiser is as hard-hitting as aVictory-class Star Destroyer and the Rebellion's best answer to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Better yet, this Mon Calamari starship is even more powerful when flown under the command of Admiral Ackbar, who can add two red attack dice to any attack made by a starship that fires only from its left and right hull zones during its activation.
Imperial Raider

Imperial Raider Expansion Pack

This potent anti-fighter starship enters Armada in the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack. The second small ship for the Imperial Navy, the Raider is a quick and nimble ship that excels at dealing with pesky starfighter squadrons, but it can just as easily dart across the battlefield to pour concentrated fire into the broadside of a Rebel cruiser. Whether you field your pre-painted miniature as a Raider I-class Corvette or Raider II-class Corvette, the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack offers you plenty of ways to customize it for battle with either squadrons or capital ships. Among its eight upgrade cards, you'll find Ordnance Experts, a new commander, Quad Laser Turrets, two unique titles, and more.
Of course, as always, the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack comes with a command dial, speed dial, and all the tokens you need to enter the fray.

Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack

Featuring some of the Star Wars galaxy's best known freighters, patrol craft, and bombers, the Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack introduces eight new irregular squadrons to Armada, each of which can be represented by either a non-unique squadron card or flown by an ace. Like the squadrons from the Core Set and the first wave of expansions, these come unpainted, but are presented in colors that complement their fleets.
Meanwhile, since these squadrons include the signature starships of some of the galaxy's most individualistic pilots, each is represented by a single miniature, and several of them allow you to take advantage of the new Rogue keyword, which grants a squadron the ability to both move and attack when it's activated during the squadron phase. Still, that's not the only new keyword introduced in this collection; both the Grit and Intel keywords appear on a number of its squadrons and introduce new tactical abilities that can help you steer the course of your Armada conflicts.
Rogues and Villains
Privateer Press recently released their new Reckoning book and this month sees the release of a few of the new characters and units from that book. Take a look at this little lot.
Extreme Carnivean

Extreme Carnivean

The Privateer Press Extreme models embody the full-throttle attitude of WARMACHINE and HORDES cranked up another notch. These models represent the ultimate creative vision for the Iron Kingdoms’ most iconic warjacks and warbeasts—taken to the extreme! Designed for the display case, these models are also legal for use in WARMACHINE and HORDES games.
This stunning model rendition of the Carnivean displays the ferocious might of Everblight's dragonspawn and will take a place of pride among your Legion forces.
Anson Durst

Anson Durst, Rock of the Faith

Anson Durst is the rock on which the enemies of the Protectorate break, a bulwark to the faithful who weathers tides of violence to keep blameless Menites safe. He earned his epithet fighting alongside the theocracy’s defenders to repel wave after wave of invading soldiers. Countless times he used his powers and a steel wall of warjacks to prevent harm to his men. Fueled by faith and his devotion to the code of the Order of the Wall, Anson Durst is all but undefeatable when committed to the defense of his people.
Nephilim Bolt Thrower

Nephilim Bolt Thrower

Nephilim stand apart from other warbeasts of Everblight’s legion in their ability to wield weapons while maintaining all the advantages of beasts born of the dragon’s blood. Their draconic strength allows nephilim bolt throwers to use artillery-style ballistae as hand-held weapons. Each bolt delivers tremendous stopping power against approaching foes before the bolt throwers carve up survivors with their heavy bow blades.
Nephilim Soldier

Nephilim Soldier

Everblight’s long study of the elves has borne horrific fruit in the nephilim. Everblight selects certain pregnant Nyss to receive a special draught of his warlocks’ blood. This blighted essence transforms the life growing within them into dragonspawn. Terrible hybrids of elf and spawn, nephilim soldiers possess the bestial strength and powers of dragonspawn while also being able to wield weapons as skillfully as the Nyss themselves.
Efaarit Scout

Efaarit Scout

Tribal nomads native to the Bloodstone Desert, the efaarit are a hardy race of talented survivalists. Atop their belligerent bletcher mounts, efaarit scout teams cross even the most punishing terrain to outflank an enemy. Precise fire from their powerful hunting rifles can bring down even massive warbeasts, as these scouts target joints and gaps in their adversaries’ armor with prodigious accuracy.
Gremlin Swarm

Gremlin Swarm

Mischievous and malicious in the extreme, gremlins delight in rooting around in mechanikal constructs with the intent of causing as much damage as possible for their own amusement. These mysterious grymkin are attracted to the hiss and clank of warjacks on the battlefield and have been known to bring mechanized weaponry grinding to a halt at the most inopportune times.
Croak Raiders

Croak Raiders

Coordinated groups of skilled warriors, croak raiders employ a powerful two-pronged attack. Working in pairs, one raider lobs hollowed gourds to soak an enemy with a highly flammable liquid, and then another launches a flaming projectile from an atlatl to ignite the enemy in a pyre of flame. This devastating combination has allowed them to eradicate even more numerous and technologically advanced foes.
Victoria Haley

Major Prime Victoria Haley

Victoria Haley has risen through the ranks of the Cygnaran Army to become one of the most potent arcanists in recorded history. Her mastery over the flow of time allows her to conjure echoes of herself from the past and future to fight at her side. By her unprecedented powers, Major Prime Victoria Haley bends the fabric of time and shatters the fundamental laws of reality as she outpaces and outfights the foes of Cygnar.
Also available from Privateer Press this month are the Mechanithralls (Cryx Unit with 3 Weapon Attachments) and the Convergence of Cyriss Army Box. At this time we don't have any pictures of these so we are unable to show them to you.
Its a big month for wyrd with nine new releases to tell you about along with along with new books for the Through the Breach Roleplay game. So before the Gremlins come along and get everyone drunk on moonshine we better get on with it.
Collodi Crew

Master of Puppets - Collodi Crew

A wooden puppet made animate by ancient magics, Collodi's entire existence focused on bringing entertainment and joy to the people of old Malifaux. On their departure he became obsessed with building wooden puppets, dreaming of one day being able to entertain human children. Delighted upon discovering humans had once again made their way to Malifaux, Collodi rushed to them to put on a show. The humans, terrified of the living wooden puppets, shunned him and Collodi learned to hate them for it!.

Necropunks

Twisted little undead, Necropunks are used for their mobility and resilience. Alone they wont do a whole lot of damage but watch out for these little guys swarming your model.
Necropunks

Crooligans

Children who have fled their parents to the Quarantine zone, only to face an undeathly result, these 'undead orphans' are surprisingly mobile and very capable of completing objectives for their Master.
Crooligans
Kossite Woodsmen

Mechanical Rider

Robot Riding Scourge of the Arcanist Forces. This quick, 12 stone model can fit snugly into almost every arcanist force without skipping a beat. It's a well tuned, fire-forged, one (robo) woman, ass kicking machine that's ready to assist you and your crew in literally every way it can.
Moon Shinobi

Moon Shinobi

Moon Shinobi are some of the best looking models in the game. Masters of Gremlin Kung Fu, they really like to take advantage of hit and run tactics. These guys are a welcome addition to the Gremlin ranks.
Burning Revelation

Burning Revelation

A new crew built around Kaeris, a mobile, durable master with a diverse skillset, most of which is setting things on fire.
She is equally capable of piling enough heat on enemies to reduce them to ashes and slag, or keeping her crew alive long enough to see the mission through. She can stand toe-to-toe with some of Malifaux's hardest hitters or jet across the battlefield to claim one last objective.

The box also contains her henchman the Firestarter, the Eternal Flame and three Fire Gamin.
PeaceKeeper

Peacekeeper

The Peacekeeper is the Guild's massive premiere construct used to enforce the law in Malifaux, because, and lets be honest here, look at the thing, if it told you to do something you'd do it.
Designed to move quickly through terrain, they can fire their great harpoons at prey then reel them back in where they can put their claws to good use.
Wicked Dolls

Wicked Dolls

A Wicked Doll is a manifestation of pure hate wrapped in a leather bag. No one is quite sure who made the first doll but all can agree, however, that the puppets are extremely dangerous. It will track down its victim and arrange all manner of horrific events. Just being near a wicked doll is enough to cause pain, for it radiates its hatred to infect anyone nearby.

When its victim is finally dead, the doll begins to tear into the corpse's flesh, driven to make another of its kind. Then the doll and its new sibling will find themselves drawn to a new soul. It is not uncommon to see a person stalked by several sets of button eyes sitting in leathery faces still covered in blood.
Widow Weaver

Widow Weaver

The Widow Weaver is a curious legend in Malifaux. She spends a great deal of time in the City, listening for the cries of a sleeping child. She visits these children, performing a lullaby only known to her. Rather than calming the child, this song makes the nightmares worse and the Weaver begins to feed. Before the parents can come to the child's aid, she flees and the nightmares leave with her. She then fashions these dreams into new patterns of her web, treasured memories that she leaves all over the world of Malifaux.
Corvus Belli have once again amazed us with their new releases of stunning models for their awesome Infinity game. This month sees the release of five new units for the Tohaa, Combined Army, Haqqislam, Yu Jing and Ariadna.
Igao Unit

Igao Unit

Vaarso Battlespeak notation: Igao, “minus zero”, the impossible number. In the Neebab Numerology this artificial number represents the esoteric connection with the world of shadows and is the perfect name for a secret assassination unit.

Few people see an Igao and live to tell about it. Usually they just glimpse a shiny blade, followed by the eternal darkness. This is because the Igao are the killing ghosts of the Tohaa Trident. This is a clandestine team conceived to perform black operations, which is the reason why their members cannot leave any trace or witnesses.

Some say they are an urban legend, but not the professional intel analysts, who doubt an Igao can be defeated. As they say, the only way to survive one of these assassins is to always keep below his radar and never face him.
Combined Army Support Pack

Combined Army Support Pack

A new kind of compilation box specially designed by Corvus Belli for new players. Thinking ahead to the ITS missions in which they will be very useful, this Support Pack comprise a Doctor-Engineer model and also their G: Servant Remotes.

The Med-Tech are intelligent bio-artificial units suited to the medical and technical maintenance needs of the entire Combined Army. Thanks to their nano-forges, the Med-Techs create their Slave Drones to operate remotely on the battlefield.
Janissaries

Janissaries

The Janissaries are a heavy line infantry regiment, trained hard to fight and resist till the last man. They are equipped with tactical armoured exoskeletons, and their mission is to stand the toughest combats.

The Janissary Regiment is formed of the Orphans, the Donated and the Collected. Their members are recruited whilst very young from the orphanages of Funduq,  and are converted into solid warriors and staunch believers. None of the Janissaries have a Cube and are operated in such a way that the recording of their personality is rendered impossible. In this way they demonstrate their value as warriors of the faith.
YAN HUO Invicibles, Fire Support Heavy Regiment

YAN HUO Invicibles, Fire Support Heavy Regiment

Any who have seen the Yan Huo Regiment in action, unloading their terrifying firepower, know just how fitting their nickname is. The regiment’s name means “fireworks” in Chinese, written with the characters for “smoke” and “fire” although the latter also means “rage, anger”.

The incredible pyrotechnics unleashed by the members of this unit are as spectacular as they are fearsome. The firepower of a single Yan Huo could be used to raze a small country to the ground. The operational maxim of the regiment is the overabundance of ordnance, and in that spirit they have a close relationship with Yungang, the primary arms contractor of Yu Jing, who always make sure to supply the Yan Huo with the bigger guns in their catalog. Generally speaking, when a Yan Huo decides to empty his magazines and spray the battlefield with his powerful artillery, that’s when things end.
Hardcases, 2ND Irregular Frontiersmen Battalion

Hardcases, 2ND Irregular Frontiersmen Battalion

The USAriadnan Southern Border is barely populated; there are miles between a farmstead and the next and roads are next to nonexistent. A land of adventure, unexplored and dangerous, full of smugglers, bandits and Antipode raiders. A desolate place, but also an untainted place for a man to find Nature and maybe, just maybe, forget the past.

It is the obvious refuge of the men and women frontier jargon has dubbed ‘Hardcases’: retired veterans who choose to seclude themselves in the wild borderlands. By definition, these are tough people, intractable, uncontrollable individuals whose company is rarely appreciated. The name is an old word that can be traced back to the American Civil War and the Wild West, keeping the same meaning in the Southern Border.
Hawk Wargames are due to release several experimental new units for Dropzone Commander this month. The rules for these new units should be available on their website soon so keep an eye out for them.

Medusa and Triton-X

These are the Medusae, the 0.0001 % of the PHR’s population capable of harnessing the power of thousands of slaved Familiars to their will with devastating effect. In battle, a Medusa will appear to 'fly', levitated on a swarming, seething pillar of nanomachines and Familiars, sowing destruction and aiding her allies in combat until the enemy is utterly destroyed.

The Triton– X is a specially modified transport for Medusa units. The fact that the PHR has created a specific transport to carry these exceptional women into the fray reflects their immense power. It also has the capacity for additional nanomachines, which can replenish and repair any losses that the Medusa's swarm might sustain from enemy fire.
Phoenix Command Gunship

Heavy Hazard Suits

Heavy Hazard Suits were developed for working in extreme conditions on frontier worlds and on the outside hulls of ships. Since 2653, many Heavy Hazard Suits have been used as pickets in areas where hostile aliens and fauna are frequent threats - militarising them was the next logical step.
Heavy Hazard Suits

Screamer and Raider Heavy Dropship

The Screamer is a consummate terror weapon, part of a second wave of any Scourge invasion to root out pockets of resistance and demoralise any survivors, breeding a miasmic sense of despair as is scuttles with chilling speed towards its prey. In addition to its already potent mental weapons, the Screamer is armed with sets of powerful, metal sheathed claws which in conjunction with its massive size and augmented musculature make it more than capable of ripping a heavy battle tank to shreds.
The Raider is a dedicated insertion platform for esoteric and specialist Scourge units. It is designed to fully envelope bulky units that have highly specific mission parameters, often as outliers to the main Scourge force. Horrific weapon systems complete the package, supporting the elite troops it disgorges with lethal anti-personnel acid hoses comparable to those on a Tormentor heavy battle tank.
Screamer and Raider Heavy Dropship

Pungari Auxiliaries

The discovery of the Cradle Worlds and very foundation of the UCM can be traced to the first contact with the Shaltari and their help in exploring the galaxy. However, the less than altruistic designs that the Shaltari apparently had for using humanity as cannon fodder quickly put paid to any thoughts of long term alliance. In the Pungari, it seems the Shaltari have found a much more pliant (if less capable) race to exploit. Despite their obvious mental and technological inferiority to their masters, they are slavishly devoted to the Shaltari and appear willing to die in large numbers for them should one be present to witness their sacrifice.
Pungari Auxiliaries
Although we have we have a whole host of events planned for July, there are a few that you should really make a note of in your diary.
Age of Sigmar opening
Magic Origins
Q Continuum
Not all of our forthcoming events are listed here so it's always worth taking a look at the events page on our website or Facebook for even more.

Til next month
