Blackpowder and Iron It’s nearly here folks – Kings of War 2nd Edition is just around the corner! This means that it’s time to start raising your army – and what better way to do so than with the new troops and armies out this month… This time around we focus on the Dwarfs, but don't forget that there are new troops for the Undead, Elves and the Abyssal Dwarfs - with Orcs and Ogres coming soon ;) The Dwarfs Dwarfs are the immoveable object in a sea of irrestible forces - tough, strong and resilient. Heavily armoured, a Dwarf force is reinforced by fast Berserker Cavalry (Dwarfs riding badgers?) whilst devastating warmachines rain death from afar. Only a fool would underestimate the might of a Dwarf Army on the tabletop! You can get your Dwarf army started or expand your existing collection with our refreshed Army and Mega Army Sets. These new sets are accompanied by the Dwarf Sharpshooters and a new Warsmith, with alternate components. Find out more here. Bringing the latest long-ranged blackpowder weapons to war, Dwarf Sharpshooters are one part deadly sniper regiment and one part experimental field-testers! Warsmiths are master craftsmen whose guild-temples furnish the Dwarf armies with destructive war engines, and the finest weapons and armour.
