Unboxing Blood Rage - 5th Player Expansion

You'll obviously need the core box to utilise this expansion and in case you've missed it that box is covered in some detail here, here and here.

Those of you lucky enough to have four friends who like board games will need this if you all want to play Blood Rage together rather than leave one person out who will then hate you from that point onwards of course. It also gives you an alternate clan to use with it's own unique aspects and strategies should you want a new challenge.

The box contains all you need to add the 'Ram' clan to your list of options.

Instructions
There's a leaflet that explains the few things you'll have to do differently in order to include that fifth clan in your games.

The Game Pieces
The expansion also contains all the counters and tokens required for the Ram Clan as well as a different coloured set of bases to clip onto the models so as to easily discern them on the game board.
I'm not sure showing you both sides of the tokens is strictly necessary but I'm a completest at heart, lol.

Cards
There are some additional cards required when using the new clan and of course they also have their own clan card for keeping track of their progress in the game.

The Models
As with the core box the models themselves have a storage area so they don't end up rolling about everywhere. It's one of my pet hates that many games have no where to put the bits and pieces once you open the container fortunately the designers of this game haven't made that mistake.

Ram Clan
As with the core box clan this one consists of a leader and eight warriors consisting of two different sculpts. There are also a couple of extra models for the clan available in the separate 'Mystics of Midgard' expansion box that we'll look at later.

Ram Clan Warriors

There was also a '5th Player Extras' pack in my Kickstarter pledge when it arrived. As I'm not sure whether this will be part of the 5th Player Expansion or a separate expansion of it's own at some point I'm going to cover it separately. Stay tuned...

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
