Unboxing Malifaux - M2E Exorcists

"We understand you have an unwanted guest..."

The Exorcists box contains enough parts for two miniatures...namely the Exorcists. It also contains stat cards for them though there are no upgrade cards.

Exorcists - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it split into two pieces (so it actually fits in the box one presumes) as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of them as well as some close-ups of the sub-sections...

Exorcists - Stat Cards
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Exorcists - Instructions

Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Exorcists

Exorcist A - Assembled
The large body piece has a cloak section that goes on the front and then the feet attach underneath where the halves meet. The small arm fits into (well...more over actually) the chest indentation. The cross piece on the crossbow unfortunately pushes the bolt above it out of alignment so the gap might need a bit of trimming or filing to get it (the bolt) to appear straight.

Exorcist B - Assembled
The pistol on the bent leg needs to go on after the leg is attached to the body as it overlaps slightly and gets in the way a bit if placed on first. The longer leg along with the cloak provides the two points on which the model stands so the point of the foot touches the base not the flat of it. The cross piece on this ones crossbow is a better fit than the other exorcist and required no trimming. It's important to dry-fit the arm pieces before gluing as you need to align three arm pieces and the assembled crossbow.

Exorcists - Comparison Picture
Unfortunately I don't yet possess the original model for comparison purposes so you'll have to make do with this old picture of the original for now.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
