Unboxing Malifaux - M2E Guild Autopsies

"Those Guild Guards don't look very well..."

The Guild Autopsies box contains enough parts for three miniatures...namely the Guild Autopsies. It also contains stat cards for them though there are no upgrade cards.

Guild Autopsies - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it split into two pieces (so it actually fits in the box one presumes) as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of them and some close-ups of the sub-sections.

Guild Autopsies - Stat Cards
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Guild Autopsies - Instructions

Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Guild Autopsies

Guild Autopsy A - Assembled
The cloak part is a pain in the arse a bit awkward. Nothing met up properly so you'll require a lot of patience and perseverance or you can do what I did which was give up trying to get a good fit...I'll just use some filler later. My only advice would be to not put the arms on first as you'll need the space. If any-one had a better experience with this model than I did then let me know and I'll modify this bit with the good news...

Guild Autopsy B - Assembled
Not much to say about this one. It consists of large easy to handle parts, there are decent attachment points for the arms and though the sword hilt is thin it's attached to the large cloak segment so is easy to handle. It was somewhat of a relief after the first one...

Guild Autopsy C - Assembled
Other than the fact that the side coat pieces are not a great fit (the right side is the worst) this model is fairly trouble free. The sword is a bit thin but not enough to be an issue.

Guild Autopsies - Comparison Pictures
Here's a few comparison pictures between the original metal versions and the new M2E plastic ones.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
