Unboxing Malifaux - Old Cranky

"Speak louder young-un..."

The Old Cranky box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely Old Cranky. It also contains a stat card for him though there are no upgrade cards.

Old Cranky - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of it...

Old Cranky - Stat Card
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Old Cranky - Instructions

Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Old Cranky - Assembled
It's a Gremlin so expect twiddles...The hand on the main body aligns with the hand on the listening tube. The rear of the head/hat is in three pieces and though you can't mix the side bits up as they're different shapes there's a lot of tiny spikes on it. The staff is also long and thin. Then there's the tiny pipe...at least there's a location point for this one though as it makes up part of the face you can't leave it off.

Mine is based on a 30mm Bayou base insert which I obtained from my FLGS Titan Games though you can also get them direct from the Wyrd Games store page.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
