Unboxing Raging Heroes - Field Medics

"It's just a scratch..."

Each of the three 'Toughest Girls of the Galaxy' armies have a number of models that fulfil the same purpose but are styled for their own particular army. In this feature we're going to look at each forces Field Medics...

For those of you who are interested in the background for Raging Heroes various 'Toughest Girls of the Galaxy' projects then the link to their original Kickstarter can be found here, their last project is here and their own website is located here. Most of their original Kickstarter is now available to purchase retail. There is also apparently a game system in development but until then I'm sure there are many other systems that you can be using them for...

First we'll have a brief look at the background of each of the three forces.

THE IRON EMPIRE (IE)
The Iron Empire is made up of exiled people that have somehow stumbled upon necromantic knowledge from alien pharaonic gods. They combine Prussian and Germanic influences with some kind of Aegyptian cyber necromancy that allow them to raise the dead and create bio-mechanical aberrations.

THE JAILBIRDS DIVISION (JB)
They are a bunch of low-life bad-ass big-attitude girls who all ended up in planetary prison held by the Kurganov government. In the game, they will be used as small penitentiary contingents led by the Kurganova Shock Troops, or as a full autonomous faction (because, as you can easily imagine, many of them have escaped captivity). They are commando-style units with nothing to lose, and they specialise in acquiring enemy equipment for their own purposes.

THE KURGANOVA SHOCK TROOPS (KST)
Led by the ultra-powerful Kurganov family, the Kurganova Shock Troops are a highly organized and disciplined army with underlying Eastern European themes. They also benefit from the support of strong cyber-enhanced paganic magic. This, among other things, allows them to 'waken' the 'were' gene that can transform some members of the Kurganova army into giant were-wolves or were-bears.

Dr Von X

Dr Von X - Unassembled
Here's pictures of both sides of the models component parts.

Dr Von X - Assembled
This model comes with two different head options (the one I used below and one with an armoured mask) and consists of five parts. I had a minor issue with a bit of flash on the tea cup that took a bit of care to remove but other than that the model was issue free.

Dr Von X - Painted
Over the period of the initial Kickstarter and during the design process there were a number of artwork, renders and painted pictures released of the various upcoming models. Here's a few painted pictures of Dr Von X that may interest you...

Mad Nurse Bernadette

Here's pictures of both sides of the models component parts.

Mad Nurse Bernadette - Assembled
This model consists of only four parts though two of them are quite small. The fingers on the separate hand are quite small and the hacksaw/knife piece that attaches to the belt is also a bit delicate.

Nurse Karoline

Here's pictures of both sides of the models component parts.

Nurse Karoline - Assembled
Just the four components in this one though two of them are the arms that need aligning to give the appearance of the nurse 'flicking' the syringe. You may want to dry-fit those parts first to make sure they're positioned correctly.
