More RPG news from Modiphius Entertainment...

Hi there,
Today we’re really pleased to announce the release of two products from Tales from the Loop, a brand new roleplaying game from Free League Publishing which allows you explore roleplaying in a 1980s that never was.

The Verge said “RPG Tales from the Loop lets you channel Stranger Things and ET”,  while Geek & Sundry thinks it, “Could very well be the RPG phenomenon of 2017”.
Inspired by sci-fi artist Simon Stålenhag’s paintings of a Swedish 1980s suburbia populated by fantastic machines and strange beasts, Tales from the Loop casts you in the role of teenagers solving mysteries connected to the enigmatic Loop. The game rules are based on Free League Publishing's award-winning Mutant: Year Zero, which won with a Silver ENnie for Best Rules at Gencon 2015.
The Tales from the Loop Core Book is a beautiful 192-page color PDF, featuring amazing art from Simon Stålenhag and contains all you need to play the game.
  • Create your unique player character from teenage archetypes like the Geek, Jock, Rocker or Weirdo– including their skills, items, prides, problems, and relationships – in mere minutes.
  • Explore the secrets of the Loop in two main game settings – one based on the Swedish Mälaren Islands, the other on Boulder City, Nevada.
  • Investigate mysteries and overcome trouble using fast and effective rules, based on the Mutant: Year Zero game engine.
  • Play the four complete scenarios included, tied together in the campaign named Four Seasons of Mad Science.
The Tales from the Loop map is a  large full-color PDF map of the Mälaren Islands, the main game setting of with the flip side showcasing the alternative US game setting, based in Boulder City, Nevada.
We hope you'll enjoy the chance to check out this intriguing new roleplaying universe and keep an eye out for more Tales of the Loop products appearing soon!
Best wishes,
Modiphius
