Unboxing Malifaux - Allison Dade

"One more question?.."

The Allison Dade box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely Allison Dade. It also contains a stat card for her though there are no upgrade cards.

Allison Dade
Allison Dade survived the violence that befell Innocence, and the story she wrote about it for the Malifaux Tattler brought her great acclaim. Even so, she has many unanswered questions about what transpired there and the people she thought she knew.

She still seeks answers to these questions. Although she currently resides in Malifaux and works full-time for the Tattler, she has on occasion made the  journey back to Innocence to try to learn more about what happened there. What is the Widow Ferris hiding? Why is everyone still so silent about those turbulent days and the Neverborn assault?

With each passing day, she worries that her answers are drifting further and further away from her. Even so, she is always looking for more clues, always uncovering another story, always asking the questions many people do not want answered.

And there will always be someone who wants to silence her.

Allison Dade - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of it...

Allison Dade - Stat Card
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Allison Dade - Instructions
I was unable to find official instructions for this model...I'll add them here if/when some appear.

Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Allison Dade - Assembled
This is a relatively simple six piece model. The legs attach together and then align with the waist of the main body section. Then you're just left with a head and arms to attach to the torso. One of the arms is holding a very thin writing implement so take care when removing this part from the sprue and where you hold onto it when attaching the arm to the body.

Allison Dade - Rotating View
Here's a close-up picture of Allison Dade as well as a rotating view.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.

  1. Thanks very much for these. I recently started Malifaux (Smoke and Mirrors, and Viktoria's boxed sets) and have enjoyed painting them so much that I'm expanding the collection. The photos are extremely helpful in assessing whether I want to buy the model as I have no local supplier - I have to purchase it all online. Keep up the good work.
