Unboxing Malifaux - Draugr

"Didn't you used to be shorter?"

The Draugr box contains enough parts for two miniatures...namely the Draugr. It also contains a stat card for each of them and a number of upgrade cards.

Draugr - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it. Here's pictures of both sides of it...

Draugr - Stat and Upgrade Cards
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Draugr - Instructions
There don't appear to be any instructions yet so you'll just have to  make do with my pictures until I find some...

Some General Notes on Assembly
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Draugr

These were based using the methods detailed in this 'cobblestone bases' tutorial HERE.

Draugr A - Assembled
This model is fairly issue free due to the mostly large and easy to handle parts. The one exception is the axe which requires you to align the hands already on it with the two separate arms and the fact that the shaft is quite thin relative to the rest of the model. As always make sure you've checked the alignment before you add any glue.

Draugr B - Assembled
As with Draugr A this model mainly consists of large parts though it also shares the issue of the thin shaft on the two-handed axe so be careful when handling this part and when removing it from the sprue.

Draugr - Rotational View
Here's a couple of rotational views of the two Draugr. They're both actually the same height but I had to take one lot of pictures from further away due to the position of the axe.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
Should you ever choose to purchase something based on one of my features or reviews then it would be nice if you could let the company know where the inspiration came from...who knows...they might be grateful to the poor unappreciated blogger who sent you their way...if however I've put you off a product...well...you can keep that info to yourself...
