Apocalypse Miniatures - Olde World Kickstarter

Some months ago Apocalypse Miniatures launched a range of 28mm scale resin scenery quaintly entitled Olde World 'Into the Wild'.

I'll let them give you the intro in their own words...
We've been busy for some time…. And so, Apocalypse miniatures presents to you the start of a range of inspiring and characterful scenery that, by capturing the essence of classic Fantasy War-gaming, will bring your games and miniatures to life. Our short term aim is to successfully  release this Into the wild range through Kickstarter, with our long term aim to design further similar projects to expand the range as far as imaginatively possible (we will be encouraging future releases to be in part developed from suggestions from yourselves, the gaming community).
Inspiration
Inspired by fantasy games and RPG's of old Apocalypse Miniatures have been busily drawing up concepts and plans for an entire range of characterful scenery, adorning's and oddments that will enable you to play a wide variety of old and new fantasy and historical scenarios, battles and skirmishes alike.

There were a wide variety of pledge levels available including buildings of all types and many accessory pieces but due to financial considerations at the time I went with the relatively low £20 'The Camp' pledge containing the following...

The detail on the miniatures is more than adequate and as you can see from the pictures below there's very little clean-up required.
The Camp

Tents
There were three different tent designs in the set I received.

Snugly Beds
The camp site also contains four camp beds of various types including one with a shield tucked under one corner, one with a staff nearby, one with it's own additional bedroll and a fourth fairly plain design.

Cauldron, Map and Key, Fire and Spit
A camp site wouldn't be complete without some accessories and an adventurers one wouldn't be complete without a map and a strange key...

My Spit and Fire was missing an upright (possibly it's in the packing material somewhere which is unfortunately now in the bin) so I made a replacement with a tiny stick...hence the difference in colour...
Update - I found the missing piece under the table but had already taken the pictures...

There were a great deal of other products available over the period of the Kickstarter, some of which are pictured below and will no doubt soon be available from their web-store HERE.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome
Should you ever choose to purchase something based on one of my features or reviews then it would be nice if you could let the company know where the inspiration came from...who knows...they might be grateful to the poor unappreciated blogger who sent you their way...if however I've put you off a product...well...you can keep that info to yourself...
