Unboxing Malifaux - Wrastlers

"...and now...for the main event..."

The Wrastlers box contains enough parts for three miniatures...namely the Wrastlers. It also contains stat cards for them though there are no upgrade cards.

The box has one sprue in it split into two pieces (so it actually fits in the box one presumes) as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of them...

Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Some General Notes on Assembly

Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Wrastlers

These models have been based on the unfortunately now discontinued metal 'Bayou' base inserts formally produced by Wyrd Games. An 'unboxing of those can be found HERE.

Wrastler A - Assembled

There's no real issues with this one though the cloak might need some filing after assembly as the join in the middle is in a fairly obvious location. The pose is also somewhat precarious what with the model balancing on one foot as it is...

Wrastler B - Assembled

Though it's possible to attach the arms and then the cloak I'd recommend doing the cloak first as this gives you a better idea of the arms location due to the attachment point then having a top as well as sides for alignment purposes.

Wrastler C - Assembled

A surprisingly very simple assembly with all parts being decent (by Gremlin standards) size. The head is slightly awkward to attach as the arms get in the way but other than that it's a simple build.
