Having sailed close by R'lyeh and the cyclopean ruins of Nan Madol, the XIN QING DAO brought its cargo of RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha to Botany Bay, Australia earlier this week. The UK and US consignments arrived earlier this month. Once the cargoes have all cleared customs we'll be able to set a release date, but it will be soon! Call of Cthulhu the Official Video Game: Live Game Play trailer Check out the new gameplay trailer for Call of Cthulhu, "the official adaptation of Chaosium's tabletop RPG", as is so nicely said at the start of the video. The scenario is called "The Next Valley Over", and features everything you need to run a demo game at a convention, including an adventure, pregens, and monsters.   13G Kickstarter distribution will be completed soon The 13th Age Kickstarter orders have now been delivered to 95% of all backers. The scenarios look into the dark heart of humanity and the mythos... but this book has a twist: these are five adventures where the Cthulhu Mythos is not what it seems. It's by Call of Cthulhu stalwart Brian M. Sammons (Doors to Darkness, Atomic Age Cthulhu, Eldritch Chrome). Designers and Dragons Updates its History of Chaosium RPG Historian Shannon Appelcline has updated his Designers and Dragons history of Chaaosium, to take into account recent developments since 2015. Shannon writes, "This is actually my second attempt at an update for Chaosium. In the summer of 2015 there was an event so historic at Chaosium that I felt I needed to produce a revised history, which I did on July 9th, 2015. The joke was on me: twenty-one days later there was another big overhaul to the company, which put it on the path to a major revival which is continuing today." Through our history we have tried to serve the players and gamemasters through craft and art as well as (and sometimes at the expense of) marketing and moneymaking. We appreciate your loyalty, and offer this communication to those who are curious about us, beyond the mere "product". It is planned to be informal and irregular.
