We want to tell you where we are with the Nickstarter right now.

We've got off to a fantastic flying start, nearly £12,000 by Friday afternoon!

The good news is that £12K means we've hit the first 4 Spend Goals. Everyone who has bought a Level 2 to 5 Nickstarter Deal will now get two free Wizard Shades, and be entered into 2 prize draws.

What are the Wizard Shades?

Tuvith Reginold, Astromancer Wizard Shade. The spirit or ghost of the dead wizard. Tuvith Reginold was one of the last pupils of the great Brycho Tarran, the most famous practitioner of Astromancy. Tuvith became the head of Astromancy at the Collegium near the beginning of Malcor’s term as headmaster, but the two never got along.

Kalish Kareen, Distortionist Wizard Shade. The spirit or ghost of the dead wizard. The last staff appointment made by Malcor before the fall of Felstad, Kalish was arguably the last great practitioner of Distortionist magic. A violently unstable woman, many within the Collegium thought that Kalish more properly belonged in a prison.

What are the Prize Draws?

Prize Draw 1 – Monster DesignThis prize draw will take place at the end of the campaign, so everyone who is eligible for the Nickstarter Rewardswill go into the hat. One lucky winner will get the chance to collaborate withFrostgrave designer, Joseph A. McCullough, to design a monster to be included in Perilous Dark, a forthcoming supplement for the game. Ever wanted to have a manticorerunning around Felstad? Or does your campaign have a recurring villain that can challenge a wider audience? Now’s your chance to put your monstrous mark on the Frozen City. Fair warning – while we want to give the winner as much freedom as possible, the monster will need to ‘fit’ the Frostgrave world (so no chainsaw-wielding, power-armoured space troopers, for example!) and it can’t infringe existing intellectual properties (no matter how cool owlbears are...). So get your thinking caps on!

Prize Draw 2 – Year of BooksThis prize draw will take place at the end of the campaign, so everyone who is eligible for the Nickstarter Rewardswill go into the hat. One lucky winner will get one copy of each Frostgrave andFrostgrave: Ghost Archipelago title published by Osprey in 2019. At present, that’s Wizard’s Conclave, a collection of scenarios and adventures for  Frostgrave written by some of the wargaming industry’s finest (due in February), Cities of Bronze (due in June), which introduces the mighty Drichean kingdoms to the Ghost Archipelago, and Perilous Dark (due in October), a Frostgrave supplement that… we’re not really meant to be saying much about just yet. If any other titles are added to 2019, the winner will get those as well.  If a 2019 title moves into 2020 for whatever reason, the winner will still get it – never fear!
