Unboxing Malifaux - Neil Henry

"Man over Machine..."

Neil Henry box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely Neil Henry. It also contains a stat card for him though there are no upgrade cards.

Neil Henry

Neil Henry first came to the foundry's attention after his family was kidnapped by Condor Rails. The railroad company had intended to use his family as leverage to force Neil to work slower, but instead of capitulating to their demands, he single-handedly destroyed the two constructs guarding his family, killed the man responsible, and freed his wife and son. Despite suffering a grievous wound, Neil then returned to the railroad and worked for a day and a half straight, ensuring that the line was completed by the deadline. 

Impressed with his work ethic, Mei Feng offered Neil a full-time job at the Foundry. Neil isn't a complicated man, but that works to his advantage; Mei knows that he doesn't have any desire to play political games and that means he can be trusted with her secrets.

Some General Notes on Assembly

Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Additionally...my own assembly notes are written as I go along so I'd suggest reading them all the way through before starting the assembly process.

Neil Henry - Assembled

This model mostly consists of the main body to which you attach the legs and arms and a small head piece. The piece on the left thigh helps align the left leg piece but it's perfectly viable to attach it afterwards as long as you align the leg correctly. The hammer shaft is fairly thin so be careful when removing that particular part from the sprue.
