Fortunately several people from Titan Games went so I just stole all their pictures instead...I'm sure they wont mind, lol.
As usual there were some nice displays there including a rather fetching 'oil rig' made from Mantic's terrain sets...
Here's some miscellaneous model pictures...
...this may interest some of you...
...they also got a visit from Mantic Games earlier on during the week and got an early look at some Dreadball Xtreme bits and pieces...
...they also 'acquired' (which may mean 'stole') this rather interesting sprue.
So there you go. Unfortunately as I wasn't there personally and therefore missed all the seminars and the like I don't have any information on any of the other 'reveals' that may have occured...sorry about that.
Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
Glad you liked my Rig even though you couldn't make it in person. Fetching isn't the word I'd use to describe it... Took six months and a lot of time, blood, sweat and tears. So pain in the proverbial is more fitting for me...
ReplyDeleteThe day itself was fantastic fun! Some amazing concepts on show, like that enforcer drop ship and veermyn beast thing. The future of Mantic looks bright indeed!
It's an excellent piece of work and it's nice to see something different done with the terrain sets. It really shows off how flexible a system they are.
DeleteJust came across this post and love the giant ants. Do you have a closeup of the rules? Doesn't seem like there were ever released for Mars Attacks in the end.
ReplyDeleteThey were released as part of one of the expansions...

They are different. The ones in your photo (8th one) are just like massive regular ants but with guns on their abdomens. Might have just been for display, but the sheet of paper pictured seems to have rules as well.
