Location of the most recent breach into Malifaux, Latest area to be occupied by the forces of Cryx, Stronghold of the Dark Legion, Homeworld of the 'Night Reapers' Space Marine Chapter, Council of Seven allocated Deadzone and the lair of some opinionated git called GMort who they let hang out with them...when he's not distracted by Steampunk, Gothic culture or Cosplay...
The Alternate Lenny box contains enough parts for two miniatures which combined make up Alternate Lenny. It also contains stat cards for him though there are no upgrade cards.
Alternate Lenny - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of it.
Alternate Lenny - Stat Cards
Stat cards in the official format can now be downloaded from Wargame Vault for a nominal fee from HERE though that may all change when 3rd Edition arrives.
Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.
Alternate Lenny - Instructions
Some General Notes on Assembly
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.
Additionally...my own assembly notes are written as I go along so I'd suggest reading them all the way through before starting the assembly process.
Alternate Lenny - Assembled
This is a very simple model to assemble due to the large parts. The only minor point worth noting is that the belt piece on the rear of the log will fit on either way around but there does look to be a definite right and wrong way around so dry-fit first before gluing in place.
The parts on the separate pig are fairly easy to locate though it does have a thin tail that could easily break off so be careful with that bit. This model is completely separate so can be placed upon the base pretty much anywhere you please.
Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
I purchase my miniatures from Leodis Games (Link Below) and can highly recommend them.
Should you ever choose to purchase something based on one of my features or reviews then it would be nice if you could let the company know where the inspiration came from...who knows...they might be grateful to the poor unappreciated blogger who sent you their way...if however I've put you off a product...well...you can keep that info to yourself...
The Big Brain Brin box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely Big Brain Brin. It also contains a stat card for him though there are no upgrade cards.
Big Brain Brin
When Brin was born, he was mocked for the sheer size of his head. None of the Gremlins in his village could figure out just what someone would need with a brain that big.
Brin's intellect grew with age, much to his detriment. His discovery of a chemical compound that immediately sobered up an intoxicated Gremlin was intended to allow his brethren to quickly recover from their beloved benders, but it only made him more despised by his kin. What sort of evil villain would want to make Gremlins sober?
Their revulsion hardened Brin's heart, driving him to a life of super villainy. His kin only call upon him in the most desperate of circumstances, when they need his twisted genius to outwit their more intelligent foes.

I couldn't find any official instructions for this model so you'll have to make do with my pictures and tips. When they appear in the wild I'll insert them here.

Be careful with pointy ears when handling the head piece as they're quite sharp and a possible weak point if pressure is applied. I assembled the 'cat' first and then added it to the body but you can probably still put the bits on while the body is attached if you wish. You need to add the legs first and then the head as the front leg creates the gap for the creatures head to slot into. That just leaves the right arm of Brin that fits between the hand on the cat and the gremlins own shoulder.

The only real issue with this model is that the inspiration for it is going to completely go over the heads of the younger readers of this. Therefore for the purposes of completeness...

Alternate Bayou Gator box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely the Alternate Bayou Gator. It also contains a stat card for it though there are no upgrade cards... This model is available to purchase via Wyrd Games various sale events...it also came in a bag rather than a box...making this an unbagging I suppose...I acquired mine via one of the aforementioned sales...

Alternate Bayou Gator - Assembled
The crocodile body is two large parts though it does have separate rear feet.
You get two head options (eating a gremlin or not) and one of the top halves of the jaw has a recess in one side that part of the gremlin slots into and the bottom has a raised piece that slots into the gremlins lower body piece. The two head pieces that aren't munching a gremlin have no locator piece or recess so are easy enough to identify.
Aligning the other head around the gremlin can be problematic as the raised piece and recess don't align brilliantly but the gremlin slots into the gap regardless and covers up the raised locator so it doesn't really matter if you just kinda balance it there.
