Unboxing Malifaux - Hannah

Malifaux...the only place where being a Librarian is so dangerous a job that they apparently have to be issued powered armour...

'Small Box' Cover/Packaging.
This version was acquired via the GenCon releases and therefore appeared in my delivery in a bag rather than a box. However the bag actually contained a box...just not one that the sprue would actually have fitted into, lol. I'm guessing that the full release will have more traditional packaging.

The Hannah box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely Hannah. It also contains a stat card for her and a single upgrade card.

Hannah - Sprue

Hannah - Stat Cards (M2E)
Front only I'm afraid...you'll have to buy one or an Arsenal Deck if you want to see the back...

Here are the official assembly instructions should you have trouble locating them.

Hannah - Assembled
This model contains a lot of parts but fortunately the majority of them can only be assembled in a certain way or order so as long as you remove them from the sprue systematically and don't rush you'll be fine. Dry-fitting of all parts is pretty much essential as though they do go together in a particular order there are a couple that could possibly be put in the wrong place. It's also worth noting that the right arms internal joint sub-assy shouldn't be assembled first or it wont fit onto hand without significant messing about. The instructions are very useful...you just need to be systematic with your assembly process.

Here's a comparison picture between this version and the limited 'Through the Breach' version, The unboxing for that other version can be found here.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.

  3. Great article! I was deeply concerned about the level of intricacy in this model, but it seems as long as you are patient (I am, I put Infinity models together without killing anyone) all should be good.
