Unboxing Malifaux - Seamus M2E 'Shadows of Redchapel'

Looks like it's dangerous to walk the streets of Redchapel once more...

The 'Shadows of Redchapel' box contains enough parts for six miniatures...namely Seamus the Mad Hatter, his Totem the Copycat Killer (3SS), Madame Sybelle (8SS) and three Rotten Belles (5SS each). It also contains stat cards for each one and six upgrade cards four of which are for Seamus (two are 'limited' so you have to pick one or the other) and one for Sybelle and one that can be given to either Seamus or Sybelle.

This makes the Soulsstone value of the box...

Seamus (0), Copycat Killer (3), Madame Sybelle (8), Rotten Belles (5, 5, 5) Total (26) or (30) with a maximum Soulstone cache and (35) with maximum 'out of the box' upgrades.

The box has four sprues in it as well as the aforementioned cards...

Lets have a look at each of these in turn...should there be any assembly issues with any of the models then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them.

Seamus, the Mad Hatter.

The Sprue

Stat Card

Upgrade Cards

Assembled

His 'Bag O' Tools' is a separate piece so you can put it anywhere you please...presumably this is because it is now an upgrade rather than his default weapon...

Madame Sybelle.

The Sprue

Stat Card

Upgrades (one of these can also be given to Seamus and is labelled as such)

Assembled
Your probably expecting me to tell you that her whip is terrible to assemble however it went together just fine...her boobs come separate for no clearly defined reason...not sure why I felt the need to mention that...

Copycat Killer.

The Sprue

Stat Card

Assembled
The only issue I encountered with this model was the small surface area with which it attaches to the base. It's worth considering sinking it into the basing material in order to add some stability...I sunk it into the cobblestones ;-)

Rotten Belles

The Sprue

Stat Cards

Assembled
When I assembled Rotten Belle 1 I attached the legs first before putting in the torso insert as I was concerned that they might not fit in otherwise...should I assemble another I'd put the torso in first as there was actually plenty of room for the legs and I actually gave myself less surface area to attach to the way I did it...

The umbrella on Rotten Belle 3 is unfortunately attached to the sprue by one of the spikes so it's very easy to cut it off while removing the part from the sprue...so easy in fact I did it myself...so be careful...

This will be the format for the M2E unboxings and it addresses the feedback I've had about the other unboxings I've done up to this point...however...

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.

    1. Glad you enjoyed it.

Over the next couple of weeks I'll be doing the following...

      Lady Justice's 'The Guilds Judgement',
      Lilith's 'Mother of Monsters',
      Miss Step,
      Nightmare Tara's 'Herald of Obliteration',
      Rasputina's 'Children of December',
      and The Viktorias 'Hired Swords'.

Though not necessarily in that order, lol.

The remaining 1.5 ones will get done as I acquire them but I think people are currently more interested in the new shiny stuff...

    3. That one will be up towards next weekend sometime...maybe slightly later as they take a surprisingly long time to organise ;-)

  2. do you have a side by side shot of the Rotten Belles? Is the Belle pictured in front of the group of Belle renders (on the back of the box) slightly bigger than the other two?
