Unboxing Malifaux - M2E Carver

A Pumpkin isn't just for Halloween...not if it's a murderous one apparently...

These were part of the Wyrd Games 'Black Friday' sale and some of those models are pre-release and therefore are yet to have proper boxes so this is technically an un-bagging rather than an un-boxing. But as this was previously a limited edition model and is currently only really usable in one particular scenario it's possible that a bag is all it will ever get...

The Carver bag contains enough parts for one miniature...namely The Carver. It also contains a stat cards for him though there are no upgrade cards. The card is also downloadable from Wyrd Games's website...

The bag has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them. Wyrd Miniatures also seem to have stopped putting instructions in things and instead give you a leaflet with a web address on it that leads to a number of links...I've put the instructions here to save you having to look...Just click on it for a larger version...

Stat Card
You can download the official version here.

Assembled
The only small parts on this model are the couple of birds that go on the crosspiece on his back. Everything else is fairly substantial...

Head Options
There are two heads provided with the model. A 'Pumpkin' one and a 'Sack' one...I've lightly tacked them in place so you can see both options therefore if there's a slight gap on any of the pictures in this article it's probably my fault...

Here's some close-ups...

The Birds
They're quite small and the attachment points might need a bit of trimming to get a snug fit...

Comparison Pictures
Here's some comparison pictures between the original metal version and the new plastic one.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
