Unboxing Malifaux - War Wabbit

If Gremlins riding a giant rabbit seems unusual then your probably playing the wrong game...

This was part of the Wyrd Games Easter sale and as a 'special edition' therefore arrived in a bag rather than the usual Wyrd Games box...this also is technically an un-bagging rather than an un-boxing but I'm not creating a new tab, lol. It's entirely possible that this model will appear in future promotional events as previous 'Limited Edition' models have also re-appeared later...

The War Wabbit bag contains enough parts for one miniature...namely the War Wabbit. It also contains a stat card for it though there are no upgrade cards.

The bag has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned card...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them. There are assembly instructions for this one below...

Assembled
There are a number of troublesome points when assembling this model that are worth noting. There was a slight gap where the two halves of the 'Wabbit' meet by the face area that may require a bit of filing or filling as necessary. There's also a couple of mould lines that go through detail such as fur but they can be removed fairly easily by scraping along the edge with a sharp scalpel. The straps attach to the sprue at the mid point so it's difficult to remove them without either snapping them or leaving a lump of plastic on them that's tricky to remove from such a thin part so be careful with this bit. If it's any relief they are fairly easy to locate on the model though.

Any-one who has ever assembled Gremlins will be unsurprised to hear that the one has separate tiny feet but even they might double-take when I tell you that the other has separate ears...yes...ears. The usual advice about having a pair of tweezers handy applies here...also...for goodness sake don't drop one onto the carpet...

Comparison Pictures
Here's a comparison picture between the War Pig and the War Wabbit.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
