Wyrd Games at GenCon 2016

Usually during GenCon I compile all the various Wyrd Games and Malifaux related pictures into a blog post at the end of each day however there's a considerable absence of pictures from the new Ripples of Fate book this year...there are however a fair few model ones and some bits and pieces from Wyrd Games upcoming 'The Other Side' game...

I have acquired these from a variety of sources and have had to crop a lot of them...if one of them is yours and you want crediting then just let me know...

Editors Note - Some pictures when I first posted this were labelled as for 'The Other Side' game but it turns out that might just be general model prototypes...sorry...on the bright side I have now found some pictures labelled 'Upcoming Model Prototypes - The Other Side'...they're very nice indeed...

  1. really cool! thank you for sharing! One thing: i think the models you identified as "wind gamins" are actually winged plagues. Again thank you!!!

  2. What were those resin minis labeled as, the ones like the woman in the dress with the gravestone, and the construct with the hammer?

    1. Wyrd Games are currently working on another game set earthside rather than through the breach in Malifaux that will apparently focus on larger sized games (the rules will be different from Malifaux as well). As far as we know most (or all) of these miniatures will be for this new game. It's called 'The Other Side'. We are guessing a bit at the moment though...

    2. I'm Pretty sure they are alternate Malifaux Models.

The Lady with the Gravestone and Alt-Titania are from the art of the first fatedeck, the big guy with the jacket looks very much like a brutal Version of Bishop. The women in the Dress and the Hammer wielding Robot are Through the Breach Artworks made model. The Hammer-Robot in Particular is modeled after a Ttb Character made by one of the players of the first Gencon Ttb Campaign only for high level backers that shaped the future of malifaux as we know it. Shenlong and Ironsides were a big part of that Ttb Campaign.
The Axewielding woman has been seen before and is almost identical in clothes and Equipment to Dashel.

    3. There's a sign behind them that says 'Prototype Model Previews' so you could be right.

    1. I wish...

It'll be a while before they work through the website orders and then dispatch mine across the ocean to the UK...where I'll probably be hit by import duties as usual. All the pics in the article are either acquired from forums or have been sent to me by blog followers who are actually there.
