'The Guilds Judgement' box contains enough parts for six miniatures...namely Lady Justice, her Totem the Scales of Justice (3SS), The Judge (9SS) and three Death Marshals (6SS each). It also contains stat cards for each one and six upgrade cards four of which are for Lady Justice, one for The Judge and one that can be given to a model with the 'Guild Marshal' unit type.
This makes the Soulsstone value of the box...
Lady Justice (0), Scales of Justice (3), The Judge (9), Death Marshals (6, 6, 6) Total (30) or (33) with a maximum Soulstone cache and (41) with maximum 'out of the box' upgrades.
The box has two sprues in it as well as the aforementioned cards though technically I suppose it's four sprues...
Lets have a look at each of these in turn...should there be any assembly issues with any of the models then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them.
This one also comes with instructions.

The sword blade on this model ends up very close to the models face so you might want to glue it on after you've painted the face.

The 'scales' part of this model have a tiny point of contact with the crosspiece which is extremely delicate.
There's a mould line beneath each of the scales which you'll need to be careful when removing as it's easy to snap off the scales with only a small amount of pressure. The two small pieces of chain that go from the neck to the upright of the scales are quite fiddly...tweezers are helpful here...

I've assembled these with the more human looking of the heads. The flaming skull versions are identical to those on the picture on the rear of the box and can be found at the top of this article should you wish to see them.
Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
Quite glad they've got the choice of Human or Ghost Rider faces. Means they'll be able to matchup with the metal originals and the female Death Marshall I should be getting with my Through the Breach rewards :)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a nice touch.
DeleteYou're obviously better at putting models together than me! I found the lady justice model to be quite tricky, especially positioning the sword scabard! I'm still not happy with how I've got it but the straps that come off the scard don't seem to match up with any on the body! The other mdoels were a breeze though. I'm really impressed with the new Wyrd plastics.
ReplyDeleteAre you putting it in the right place?
DeleteI take that back. The scabard fits higher on the body, under her hair than I realised and there are places for the straps to match up! Just being blind!!
ReplyDeleteNo Problem.
DeleteJust out of interest, have I bought a dud box (bought the box about 2months ago in my local store). Lady Justice is properly tiny (like the size of a starving six year old) and the crouching death marshall would be about 7 feet tall to scale! Crouching marshall looks fine but lady j is really small! I don't mind to be honest, I think she looks ok small and I'm going to put her on a raised base insert to make her look bigger but I'm just curious!
ReplyDeleteShe is quite petite and you'll see that a great many people have her standing on something when they base her...I have her standing on a coffin that I had spare from a 2nd Lady J set I bought for a conversion project that I never got around to.

The crouching Death Marshal is apparently meant to be huge...according to Wyrd anyway...
Going to get this crew as it another crew to be playing with and will also go well with my sonnia creed crew minus sameal Hopkins and the judge in hes place and the 3 death marshalls will strike fear into the opponents faces
ReplyDeleteThe Lady J and Sonnia crew boxes cross-over remarkably well.
DeleteOnly bought this set myself and couldn't figure where the chains went, so cheers for this :-)
