Some bits and pieces of news from River Horse...

“Today we are crushed by the sheer weight of the inflatable forces hurled against us, but we can still look to the future in which even greater inflatable forces will bring us to victory. Therein lies the destiny of the world.”
River Horse presents to you: Inflatable tank shells! The shells come in three different sizes, the British 17pdr used by the Sherman firefly, the 75mm AP shell used by the M4 Sherman and the 88mm shell used by the mighty German Tiger. Each shell is 1:1 scale lifesize and a great addition to any games room (as well as being a whole lot less dangerous than the real thing). Some people have asked us why we decided to make inflatable shells and so we came up with a short list of the ten best reasons to own these wonderful toys: 10. They are much cheaper than the real thing at only £8-10 a pop! 9. Someone has just bought a nerf gun and you want to show them real firepower. 8. Impress women with your ability to carry tank shells in one hand. 7. Fend off a mechanical German assault. 6. Fend off a cat or an easily perturbed dog. 5. Show kids a little history by showing them how big tank shells really are. 4. Fend off a mechanical US assault. 3. To lend scale to a collection of world war memorabilia 2. Launch an amphibious assault at a pool party! 1. Finish off a cool WWII costume.
So we know what you are thinking: "How do I get my hands on one of these?" Well, the answer is that they will be available early September ( pre-order now!) from River Horse as well as from various conventional retailers upon release! if you would like to see more from our friends getting silly with miniature tanks, life sized shells and great costumes you can see the whole album of our fun playing bolt action 2nd edition here!
