"Do you need a hug?"
The Slate Ridge Mauler box contains enough parts for one miniature...namely the Slate Ridge Mauler. It also contains a stat card for him though there are no upgrade cards.
Slate Ridge Mauler - Sprue
The box has one sprue in as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of them...
Slate Ridge Mauler - Stat Card
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...
Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.
Slate Ridge Mauler - Instructions
I'm currently unable to find instructions for this one but as soon as they appear I'll pop them into this section.
Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.
Slate Ridge Mauler - Assembled
The models main body is in two substantial halves that the arms, feet and head attach to. The parts have fairly well defined locations so attaching them to the correct points is fairly simple. The head is in two halves and the meeting point is right down the middle of the face so some minor filling might be required to hide the join.
Slate Ridge Mauler - Comparison Picture
Here's a couple of comparison pictures between the original metal version and the new M2E plastic one.
Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
