For those of you who are interested in the background for Raging Heroes various 'Toughest Girls of the Galaxy' projects then the link to their original Kickstarter can be found here, their last project is here and their own website is located here. Most of their original Kickstarter is now available to purchase retail. There is also apparently a game system in development but until then I'm sure there are many other systems that you can be using them for...
First we'll have a brief look at the background for the Jailbirds and then we'll meet Punky.
THE JAILBIRDS DIVISION (JB)
They are a bunch of low-life bad-ass big-attitude girls who all ended up in planetary prison held by the Kurganov government. In the game, they will be used as small penitentiary contingents led by the Kurganova Shock Troops, or as a full autonomous faction (because, as you can easily imagine, many of them have escaped captivity).
They are commando-style units with nothing to lose, and they specialise in acquiring enemy equipment for their own purposes.

And here is the craziest Standard Bearer you'll ever meet, Punky, the Jailbirds Army Standard.
Punky 'Army Standard' - Unassembled
Here's pictures of both sides of the unassembled model parts.
A Brief Note About Resin Models.
Also it's worth noting that many resin models have a slightly greasy feel caused by the substance they use to stop them sticking to the moulds during production and this can cause issues with paint not sticking to the model properly. Carefully washing the parts in soapy water will remove this should your model be unduly affected. Parts that are bent (or that aren't and you want to be) can be corrected by heating up slightly in warm water and then bending into the required configuration.
Punky 'Army Standard' - Assembled
This model is basically a single piece with the exception of a choice of one of two right arms, a piece for the top of the standard and a rifle that's slung across her back and this is a very low part count for a model with this dynamic a pose and level of detail. There's a fair bit of 'flash' supporting the chain hanging down from the flag that needs removing but it doesn't attach to any detail so this is a hasslefree process. I went with the pistol arm rather than the 'throat cutting' pose with the knife though I'm thinking I may have made the wrong decision there as the knife pose is probably more fitting to the character. I also chose not to attach the rifle across her back but as there's no specific location point for it this also caused no problems.
Punky 'Army Standard' - Extras
Here's a look at some renders, painted pictures and early artwork from the Kickstarter process that may interest you all.
