'Two swords are better than one...'
The Wokou Raiders box contains enough parts for three miniatures...namely the Wokou Raiders. It also contains stat cards for them though there are no upgrade cards.
Wokou Raiders - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned cards. Here's pictures of both sides of it...
Wokou Raiders - Stat Cards
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...
Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.
Wokou Raiders - Instructions
Some General Notes on Assembly.
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.
Wokou Raiders
Wokou Raider A - Assembled
Amongst the issues to watch out for on this one is the two part head which I found difficult to get a good fit with (some filling will occur later), the wrist/elbow connections to the swords being quite small and the thin ribbon on the belt.
Wokou Raider B - Assembled
The arms and swords are attached to body and are connected to the sprue via the swords edges so be careful when removing them from sprue. The rest of the model is issue free...well...unless you count the fact that the entire model is balancing on the tips of it's toes...
Wokou Raider C - Assembled
This model shares the above models general issue with thin swords and the first ones delicate sash. I also found that it's much easier to align the right arm if the hat is put on the back of the body first.
Wokou Raiders - Rotational Views
Here's some rotational views of the Wokou Raiders. They're not my best ones as the dynamic nature of the poses has made them a little jumpy but they are what they are...
Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome.
