Just before we get started, a couple of weeks ago we mentioned that we’d giving the Spanish guys at Ghost Train Games a shout-out to support their Alternate Civil War game that went live on Kickstarter on Saturday if you fancy taking a look! If it catches your eye, we recommend going in with a mate at the Early Sergeant level (£55 or $92), where you’ll get a starter set each with cards, digital art book, two token and dice sets, digital copy of the ruleset and free Worldwide shipping. Crazy amount of stuff! You can find out more on their Kickstarter page here. Mantic Open Day The main reason for this newsletter is that we’ve posted up more details surrounding our Mantic Open Day as we are now just over 3 weeks away from the event. And it’s shaping up to be a real corker with new Organised Play and Events manager Chris Nicholls taking up the helm.
Last year's Mantic Open Day gets the thumbs up of approval +2
Here’s just a sample of the things we’ve got in store for attendees: EXCLUSIVE PREVIEWS - Come and be amongst the first in the world to play Mars Attacks and DreadBall Xtreme. With the Games Designer on hand, you'll be able to ask all of your burning questions to the man who wrote the rules. PLAY SOME GAMES, HAVE SOME FUN! - Between the DreadBall Azure Forest Tournament, Deadzone Campaign Day (campaign pack now available!!) and the LOKA Tournament (why not warm-up with the LOKA: March of the Guinea Pigs event?), you'll be able to put your gaming chops through their paces, and meet some great people along the way. Tickets are highly limited. LEARN TO PLAY! Our team of legendary Pathfinders will be on hand to show you the ropes with Deadzone, DreadBall and more, whilst Dave will be running sessions teaching you how to build your Battlezones scenery.
Studio tours, seminars, and some cracking deals including Project Pandora available for just £10 on the day, and a show special Crazy Box!
You’ll also get a £5-off voucher with any Mantic Open Day ticket AND kids get in free with their parents. Check out the blog for more details on what is happening and please remember that the Open Day venue has changed to 193 Hempshill Lane. Get your Open Day ticket here. Warehouse Closing This Week Just a reminder that the warehouse is closed from the 30th April to the 12th May and we will not be shipping orders until after this date due to us moving premises. That doesn’t mean that you can’t take a look at our latest pre-orders however, including theBattlezones scenery sets that have lovely shiny new images...
