Blessed by the Pious The Basileans are the single biggest Kings of War release we’ve ever done – there is just SO much stuff! This week we’re going to focus on the might of the Paladins – holy warriors disciplined in war and protected by their belief in the Gods. Featured above are the brand new plastic Paladin Knights and the Paladin Footguard kits. The Paladins on foot, like most Basilean units, have Blessed be the Pious, a special rule that allows them to heal themselves of damage during a turn. The Paladin Knights on the other hand are some of the most skilled cavalrymen in all of Mantica. You can take them in Troops, Regiments and Hordes(!) making them incredibly versatile on the battlefield! Mantic at Gencon Gencon is just a few weeks away – in fact the moment Ronnie lands from his China trip, he see’s his kids for a day before getting on a plane and flying out to America! Grand Master Sallustis will be previewed at Gencon We’re going to be in attendance with the following… - DreadBall! With a DreadBall tournament and demoes all weekend long, you’ll be able to compete for glory or learn how to play the galaxy’s greatest sports game! - Kings of War! We’re holding a tournament in the main game hall. Get your armies ready and challenge for the title of Tournament champion! We’ll also have the Ogres on the stand as well as previews of the Basileans. - Other previews! He’s mean, he’s green, and he wears a clear plastic helmet. Expect the unexpected at Gencon with an all-new model preview – and of course, Ronnie will pilfer every Deadzone model in the building to show off as well (and may even bring them back mostly intact!) Gencon starts on the 15th August – see you there!
