Something free for the Achtung! Cthulhu players from Modiphius...
Horror on the edge of the Arctic circle

Hi there,

Today we're really pleased to be able to bring you the second FREE Living Campaign instalment for Achtung! Cthulhu, entitled Blessed of the Wind by one of Modiphius' favourite writers, Richard August.

Anyone who's already signed up for the Living Campaign can head here to download this second instalment, while anyone trying Achtung! Cthulhu's Living Campaign for the very first time, should sign up here, which will give you access to the first episode, A Light on the Mountain by John Dodd also for FREE!
Attention agents! The Secret War has taking a turn for the worse and now we need your help! With Section M stretched to breaking point it's time to get out there in the field and show us what you've got!

Mission 2 - Blessed of the Wind by Richard August
A Nachtwolfe troop ship moored in a remote Norwegian fjord is starting to make Section M nervous. Why have the Nazis expended such a badly needed resource in this remote corner of the world ? What are they up to and could it involve the legends of a fearsome creature which is said to haunt the area? Once again Section M sends a small task force to investigate and they're soon involved in a chilling adventure on the very edge of the Arctic Circle.

Mission 1 - A Light on the Mountain by John Dodd
Join a group of brave allied investigators as they board an aircraft with an experimental propulsion drive on its test flight. Yet all is not as it seems, and soon the investigators are plunged into darkness and terror and begin to explore a mystery as old as the mountains themselves.

Each mission is a self-contained adventure and includes everything you need to play including a set of pre-generated characters... Simply them through and afterwards we'll send out an invite for Gamemasters to complete the Section M Debriefing which will help shape subsequent episodes. If you have any further questions visit the Achtung! Cthulhu forum here where you can also meet with fellow agents.

If you'd like to get involved in writing episodes for Achtung! Cthulhu's Living Campaign, we're currently accepting submissions. Get a FREE download of Modiphius Issue #2  for the current guidelines and send us your best ideas or contact direct.
The Forest of Fear
Over the coming year we'll be revealing a sinister plot in occupied territory and your group's actions will have a direct result on the course of the Secret War! It's all leading up to our epic Forest of Fear Campaign, which chronicles the untold story of the Secret War during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. This is a storyline which will drive Achtung! Cthulhu over the next year in a major new RPG campaign book and also continues in the recently announcedAchtung! Cthulhu Tactics: the Forest of Fear videogame.

If you want to run the Living Campaign and get info, a preview and a full storyline dossier on the Forest of Fear campaign (beware spoilers if you intend to be a player character) you can download our free Secret War Operations manual for Achtung! Cthulhu Skirmish, which gives a host of background storyline, information and material.

If you have friends that would like to join the Living Campaign as players or GMs, ask them to sign up on this page, so we can make sure they get sent each new set of missions and join in the debriefings.

That's all for now, transmission ends...

Major Houlihan - Section M, signing out!
